The two main issues we experienced with Oppo’s rival are addressed in the company’s first foldable in India.
The Oppo brand has long ignored the Indian market for high-end smartphones. Up until the Oppo Find X2 Pro (First look), there hadn’t been any other Find series phones. In just one month since its February global release, Oppo has introduced the Find N2 Flip in India. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and its predecessors, the only other vertically folding smartphones in India, are up against the Find N2 Flip, which has never faced competition before.
The Find N2 Flip uses the same strategy as Samsung, and Oppo has included similar software functions as well. It sets itself apart with its significantly larger outside display, higher resolution cameras, bigger battery, and faster charging. Do these qualities suffice to justify choosing this product over its well-known rival? Look at it now.
Price of the Oppo Find N2 Flip in India
In India, the Oppo Find N2 Flip is available in a single configuration with 8GB of (LPDDR5) RAM and 256GB of (UFS 3.1) storage. Due to the SIM tray only supporting two nano-SIM cards, the latter is not extendable. The base model of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 costs exactly the same as Oppo’s Find N2 Flip, which is priced at Rs. 89,999 (before discounts and deals).
Design of the Oppo Find N2 Flip
The Oppo Find N2 Flip will be incredibly comfortable if you’ve used any Samsung Galaxy Z Flip phones. The 191g phone folds down to an incredibly small size. It ought to fit easily inside the majority of pockets. Although it is thicker than other smartphones when folded, there is no visible space between the two sides, and in the few weeks I used this gadget, I seldom ever had lint or dust getting inside the folding display.
The Astral Black device I used has a matte finish that deters fingerprints and has a pleasant feel to it, which gives it a very polished appearance. In my opinion, the Moonlit Purple colour option also has a lovely appearance and has a glossier finish.
The new Flexion hinge from Oppo, which is designed to lessen the crease of the folding display, is receiving a lot of attention. To see how much of a difference the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 makes, we still need to do a comprehensive side-by-side comparison. When the inner display is seen from an angle, the wrinkle is still discernible and even palpable on the Find N2 Flip. TÜV Rheinland has granted the hinge a durability certificate stating that it would last for more than 400,000 cycles of folding and unfolding. Also, it was designed to maintain its place at angles between 45 and 110 degrees
